Transformative MomentsThis talk is about key events in life which allow an individual to change their core outlook and directions. These are transformative moments that alter one’s perspective, lifestyle, and interaction with others. The talk is just over 18 minutes. I have to admit that it was a tough talk to prepare for and to give as I kind of laid it all out there. A meaningful talk must come from the heart and soul. It is never easy to open up and share our real stories, but I'm grateful that I did. I hope you take the time to watch this talk.

In my talk I focus on the guiding principles that allowed me to overcome adversity and challenge. Physical activity and sport truly changed my life and it was through this experience that I found a powerful support network and mentors along my journey. My challenge in this talk is to help people to identify what their guiding principles are and who their mentors were that helped to support them along their own journeys. |
