​Greetings everyone and a warm-hearted thanks for visiting my website. I have tremendous gratitude and appreciation for being a part of this wonderful profession. Teaching and learning are genuine passions of mine and over the past 20 years, I've been very fortunate to experience the world of international education. My journey began at the Hiroshima International School many years ago and since that time, I've worked at fully authorized IB schools in Azerbaijan, Cambodia, China and Saudi Arabia. 

This website used to fall under the domain name of pyppewithandy.com,  but unfortunately, due to issues with my web hosting server, I can no longer use this domain name. I have transferred the name over to andyvasily.com. Although this website has been primarily focused on good teaching practice/pedagogy in physical education, my work focus has shifted over the years to explore great instructional practice in other disciplines as well. On my blog, I will also be writing about my leadership experience and the strategies/approaches I have explored in order to become a better leader in my field.  

I’ve been lucky enough to present and speak in over 20 countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Australia, North America and the Middle East over the years. Nothing inspires me more than connecting with others from around the world to not only learn from them but to also share my own learning on workshops, both virtually and in person. As well. I also share my learning through my website and on my Run Your Life podcast. It is my biggest hope that this website and my podcast give you ideas, strategies, and approaches that help you deepen the impact you have in the work that you do in education and beyond.
